ROYCE INTERNATIONAL AND PALMER INTERNATIONAL FORM JOINT VENTURE TO MANUFACTURE EPOXY CURING AGENTS AND SPECIALITY PRODUCTS.

Royce International, A New Jersey Corporation; and Palmer International, A Pennsylvania Corporation; have formed a joint venture for manufacturing Phenalkamines, Amine curing agents and other specialty products. The new joint venture company is called RP International. Royce International is a leading supplier of Epoxy Resins, Phenalkamines, Curing Agents and Reactive Diluents in coatings, adhesives, aerospace, automotive, electrical, electronic, composite, and construction industries. Royce International has been supplying these products in global markets since 1995. Royce International is a part of Royce group of companies, which have been manufacturing and supplying specialty chemicals since 1929. Palmer International is the leading supplier of Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL) products for key industries around the world, including brake and friction materials, paints and coatings, and the graphic arts since 1946. Palmer International operates out of a state of the art plant located in Skippack, Pennsylvania. This plant has recently been expanded to manufacture the products for RP International. According to Harry Anand, President of Royce International, this joint venture between Royce and Palmer is a perfect marriage. It takes our manufacturing know-how, applications support, marketing and logistics strengths and combines with Palmer’s state of the art plant, R&D lab, and manufacturing experience; to manufacture and supply the best combination of quality, technical support and competitive prices in the industry. We are poised to build on the long history and strengths of our two companies. According to Kevin Palmer, CEO of Palmer International, Royce brings a wealth of technical knowledge and marketing experience in epoxy market to this venture. Palmer has a long history in CNSL products including manufacture of Cardanol, which is a key raw material for Phenalkamines. Under high vacuum, Palmer uses thin film distillation technology to produce some of the lightest color cardanol in the world. . Palmer has been a supplier of Cardanol to Phenalkamine producers around the world since 1997. This joint venture is a natural extension of Palmer’s strengths, with Royce technology to produce Phenalkamines and other curing agents.
