Royce acquires C.H. Patrick's Vat Dye Business.

Passaic Color and Chemical, division of Royce Associates has acquired C.H. Patrick & Co.'s Vat dye business for an undisclosed sum. This acquisition further strengthens Passaic's presence in the market, and offers Patrick's customers continued access to world-class service and products. Over the next 30 days Passaic Color and C.H. Patrick will work to provide CH Patrick's Vat dye customers a seamless transition to Passaic's Royce Vat product line.

Royce Colors receives Coveted Medical Products Award.

For the second year in a row Royce Colors - the Polymer, Paper and Textile Unit of Royce Associates, received a supplier recognition from Carestream Health, the world's leading manufacturer of X- Ray Film and Medical Products.

Carestream Health, which supplies a complete line of Medical and Dental Imaging film and equipment to over 150 Countries, named Royce their 2010 Supplier of the Year, Carestreams top supplier honor. Last Year Royce received Carestream's Quality Supplier of the Year.

Carestream Health in a statement describes the prerequisites to be nominated and chosen as Supplier of the Year "Royce Associates has been a Carestream supplier since April 2007. Royce provides Carestream with a very critical product; demonstrating exceptional quality, delivery, product improvement, & productivity. Additionally, Royce has assisted Carestream in identifying second source options for critical raw materials to reduce overall risk to Carestream. Royce does a great job in proactively communicating with Carestream, controlling their costs and supply chain, as well as managing their subcontractors. Royce demonstrates all of the qualities requisite and worthy of Supplier of the Year nomination"

Royce was chosen as the top supplier for 2010 among a group of more than 4,000 suppliers to Carestream and more than 140 Certified Suppliers to Carestream.

During the Award Ceremony, it was also noted that Royce has a 100% quality and on time delivery record with Carestream and Royce's creative approach to Carestream's projects has driven year over year savings to Carestream.

Royce International expands its Sales network by appointing a new distributor - Chemroy Canada Inc in Canada. Chemroy established in 1967, is a leading specialty chemical and food ingredient distributor. The year 2011 will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prize awarded to Madame Marie Curie—an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of women to science. The year will also be the 100th anniversary of the founding of the International Association of Chemical Societies, providing a chance to highlight the benefits of international scientific collaboration.
